The ROPES Journey
Our ROPES (Rites Of Passage ExperienceS) program follows a structured cycle designed to guide youth from an urban slum or rural informal settlement into responsible, purpose-driven adulthood.
Journal & Enrollment
A ROPER begins their journey by enrolling with a ROPES journal — Kshs 500 for one, or Kshs 1,000 for three (discounted for this initiative).
Class Sessions & Activities
A full year of structured class sessions and activities covering our thematic areas: Transitions, Life Skills, and Sexuality.
Camp Experience
The culminating rites-of-passage camp at Camp Malta or Camp Oltepesi — full camp cost is Kshs 18,500, covered by sponsorship.
Certification & Community
Graduates receive a certificate and join a nationwide network — 80 churches currently run the ROPES transition program for ongoing support.
